Much respect to everyone who felt the blog. Thats a sign that this hip-hop thing will come full circle. When people are tired of hearing nursery rhymes that come with a dance Im sure that MC’n & DJ’n will come back as the new way in.
Hip-hop is unstoppable and the face will keep changing.
One thing I think the new heads are misunderstanding is that I have no love for the newer hip-hop that comes out. And thats not true.
Im not trying to say that its whack.
There are plenty of new artists that come original and impress the shit out of me.
I dont hate Lil Wayne. I definitely think that the lil nigga has talent. He can freestyle off the top and that takes skill. And he seems to stay true to his own style. But hes still way over rated.
I dont hate 50 cent. I loved his first album. But after that he was hit & miss. The sad part about it is that he was the one who could have single-handedly brought the game back to its apex. But instead he chose to "fit in". But that being said, I never count him out. His hard core shit is some of the best.

Max B- Got his own style and its got mad flavor. Its a refreshing thing to hear something new that actually sounds good. But god damn! 75 years! One love kid.
Lupe Fiasco- Shouldnt have to explain this one.
Kanye West- I dont care that hes gay. He programs some of the illest beats in hip-hop today and, lyrically hes getting sharper every album.
Lloyd Banks- Will probably suffer from Memphis Bleek syndrome for the rest of his career but the nigga has mad bars.
TI- I dont know why Wayne gets more credit than Tip. This nigga can make a banger or a love song and you would be hard pressed to call any of it whack. Cant fuck with Ludacris though
Jeezy- OUCH. If the torch was to get passed…
The Game- Ok Ok, he was a stripper. He was on change of heart. Hes probably not even Piru. But the nigga has what it takes to catch your attention and he can rap his ass off. And everybody fucks with him.
Little Brother- Anybody who hasnt yet heard of Big Pooh, Phonte and 9th wonder needs to go cop the whole discography. They are proof that hip-hop music is still very much alive.
Saigon- Has his own sound. Has content in his lyrics. Has Just Blaze in his corner.
Joe Budden- Bagged Saigon.
Crooked I- Even though hes been around for awhile, hes still new to a few. Crook is probably my favorite up-and-comer. He IS hip-hop.

Except I’m not a big Game fan. He has potential but for me , alot of times he’s just not showing it. Plus he’s way too cocky to say some of the shit he says.
I’m not a youngin but I’ll give you a few:
B.O.B- the nigga creates his own beats, he plays instruments, sings,raps and puts on a good live show.
Jay Electronica- Urban legend of rap, doesn’t come out with alot of material but it is all original and usually made out of movie soundtrack samples. Nas, Erykah Badu, and J.Dilla voush for this cat.
MF Doom- He’s not new but he can flow ill, he has different rap names and they all have thier own personality. This is just one of them.
Drake- I know he does alot of flashy shit. But when he gets on more serious and personal topics, that boy is pretty nice. To me, that shows versatility in your topics, cuz it ain’t always about the limelight and money.
Gemini- Part of Lupe’s camp.
Kid Cudi- He’s NOT a lyricist. But damn that boy is creative as shit.(he reminds me so much of Kanye first coming out) and he’ll get better with time.
Joe Buddens- Not the huggest fan of Joey, but can’t deny his brilliance. He wants to get at Jay so bad, it’s disgusting. But I know that Joey is formidable against any of the greats. Shit since the first time they went back and forth on a track, I felt like if anyone could go in a lyrical battle(and keep it on wax) with Jay, it would be him. Joey brings out the battling spirit in Jay. I think those niggas could go back and forth for days at each other.
Im still keeping an eye out on J.Cole cuz Iv’e heard a variety of songs from him and I see SOME versatility(and the rhymes are pretty nice) but i’m not too sure how far it goes. Only time will tell,(and a couple more mixtapes)lol
Joe Budden – i know peeps get annoyed and say he cocky and all he does is diss to get attention ,but joey goes so deep and there aint a song where id don’t feel like , ive been there, ive done that ,yeah yeah Joey me too homie . and at the end im like shit that was intense , i feel like i know dude or something haha .no homo !!
Cormega – hands down one of my favourite ever ..for me he makes beautiful music, lyrics laced in with light melodies is just goose bumps material. from the the testament , true meaning , realness , born and raised. i feel he could come even harder but i dont want that .he is happy where he at in his career and i just want to keep hearing music from him.. sugar ray herns ft large professor , tell me those bars aint sic.
Convinced – now i dont know that much about him , but when i heard his song saddest stories , i was like dayymn i like this dude , cool swag, some deep lyrics and seemed to be real in his understanding of what he was trying to say . not kidding himself that he is g’d up bling bling blhwow.
Casey Veggies – dreams and ego’s track with h.o.p.e is ill , i just got his new mix(could be old) and haven’t heard all of it yet , but he gave me off a good vibe. check him out !
